In our 150th year we've had so much to celebrate with our staff and in our local communities
Finalists’ Night at the Museum for Shropshire Young Thinkers
Kicking off the 2020 Darwin Festival on a creative note, the 20 finalists of this year’s Young Thinkers’ Competition enjoyed a fantastic night of appreciation and celebration with six Highly Commended entries announced and 12-year-old Vivian Wang from Packwood Haugh School crowned this year’s winner.
Signing the Armed Forces Covenant
We are now an armed forces-friendly organisation and are looking to attract veterans, young and old, to join our Care, Property and Site Machinery companies.
Raising money for a worthy cause
In our 150th year anniversary, we've surpassed our fundraising target and raised £12,526 for this year’s chosen charity, Alzheimer’s Society. Funds are used for vital research into cause, cure and prevention and support for families and those living with dementia.
Thank you to everyone who helped to celebrate our 150th anniversary
From those who visited our exhibition, came to our marquee at the Flower Show, donated items to our archive or even shared their memories of Morris on social media. It's been a spectacular year!
