Marrington Escapes makes West Midlands Tourism Awards shortlist

We are thrilled to share that Marrington Escapes has been shortlisted in the prestigious West Midlands Tourism Awards for New Tourism Business of the Year.

Our collection of luxury holiday cottages impressed this year’s judging panel, helping Marrington become one of three businesses to be shortlisted in this category. The awards will be held in the Spring and regional winners will automatically be put through to the national Visit England Awards for Excellence.

Marrington Escapes was launched two years ago and marked an exciting step forward in the company’s history. Today, it’s collection of seven self-catering properties near Chirbury in South Shropshire is proving popular, with the compelling attraction of ‘staying in luxury but getting back to nature’.

The awards are delivered by the West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) – the region’s destination marketing agency. Now in their fourth year, the awards will form part of WMGC’s overarching Global West Midlands programme, designed to strengthen the region’s visitor economy by harnessing sustainable domestic tourism, growing the demand for inbound international tourism and attracting more major business and sporting events.
