Victoria Quay Vikings ready to row to victory at Shrewsbury Dragon Boat Race
River based businesses located in Victoria Quay have joined together to form a team for the Shrewsbury Dragon Boat Race, in aid of Severn Hospice.
Sponsored by Morris Property, whose offices are on Welsh Bridge, the team is made up of rowers from Morris Property, Morris Care and Shrewsbury Hickory’s, Known collectively as the ‘Victoria Quay Vikings’, the team are on a fundraising mission to support the vital services provided by Severn Hospice.
This year’s Shrewsbury Dragon Boat Race takes place on 23rd – 24th July, and spectators are encouraged to cheer the teams on from the side-lines. The two-day event will raise thousands of pounds for charity, with each team encouraged to raise a minimum of £1000.
Morris Property’s Head of Estates Liz Lowe said: “We are very proud to be part of such a popular event in Shrewsbury. It’s great to come together with our Victoria Quay neighbours and tenants to hopefully row ourselves to victory! Congratulations to Emma Powell, Associate Solicitor
Congratulations go out to Emma Powell from all her colleagues and friends in the Morris Group on her significant achievement of becoming Associate Solicitor.
Emma joined us in 2018 as a Chartered Legal Executive working with Company Secretary and Group Solicitor, Lyndsey O’Loughlin. Last year Emma decided to undertake the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations, studying in her own time alongside her demanding job at Morris & Company.

The Walrus’ chef owners, business and life partners Ben Hall and Carla Ernst are both thrilled to be taking this confident and exciting step forward for their business, leasing the property from Morris & Company.
Keen runners take part in Sansaw 5k Fun Run for charity
A big well done to our keen runners who took part in the Sansaw 5k Fun Run for the Henry Angell-James Memorial Trust.
We were delighted to sponsor the first ever fundraising event, which raised money for the purchase of more automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for communities in need.
