Victoria Quay Vikings ready to row to victory at Shrewsbury Dragon Boat Race

River based businesses located in Victoria Quay have joined together to form a team for the Shrewsbury Dragon Boat Race, in aid of Severn Hospice.

Sponsored by Morris Property, whose offices are on Welsh Bridge, the team is made up of rowers from Morris Property, Morris Care and Shrewsbury Hickory’s, Known collectively as the ‘Victoria Quay Vikings’, the team are on a fundraising mission to support the vital services provided by Severn Hospice.

This year’s Shrewsbury Dragon Boat Race takes place on 23rd – 24th July, and spectators are encouraged to cheer the teams on from the side-lines. The two-day event will raise thousands of pounds for charity, with each team encouraged to raise a minimum of £1000.
