A huge congratulations to our Director, Chris Morris, who celebrates 25 years with our family business.

His story here in Shrewsbury began in 2001 when Chris arrived from London with a degree and eight years marketing experience under his belt. His first role as Marketing Manager saw him devising our well renowned company logo and the company’s first website, moving on to build our marketing agency in Birmingham. His next role was to head up our site machinery business manufacturing and selling lighting towers around the world – a feat recognised by the Sunday Times when he collected an Export Award at The Dorchester.

In 2021, Chris played a key role in establishing Marrington Escapes, our holiday letting business which has since gone from strength to strength, welcoming guests from all over to the family’s special corner of South Shropshire.

In more recent years, Chris has taken the reins of our Construction business, working closely with James and the team to drive growth and strengthen this core part of our business today.

Chris has shaped so many standout moments in our history and today everyone gathered to thank him for his dedication, energy and outstanding contribution over the last quarter century. Here’s to the next chapter.
