Shining on with solar in prestigious awards
Leading equipment manufacturer, Morris Site Machinery, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2020 Hire Awards of Excellence. Their SMC TL60 Solar lighting tower has been nominated in the Hire Industry Product of the Year category.
Since launch in 2019, this sustainable, low maintenance lighting solution has attracted interest from around the UK and on an international level for its green credentials and ease of use.
With the option of auto dim LEDs using PIR sensors, the lights are activated when triggered by movement, enabling it to run for up to 200 hours, or 20 hours from the battery alone, which re-charges in just hours.
With a dedicated New Product Development team, Morris Site Machinery understand the growing demand from the Hire Industry for machinery with eco credentials and no compromise on output. Its most recent prototype, the SMC TL55 Solar H2 was on display at the Executive Hire Show in Coventry, demonstrating their commitment to the industry in developing new sustainable options and exploring alternative fuels.
Allan Binstead, Managing Director said “We’re proud to be nominated for our latest innovation that is meeting demand for eco solutions across the industry. The Hire Association of Europe is the industry-leading trade association and we value its work to support products and services for all aspects of plant, tool, equipment and event hire.
Renewing our Hire Industry Trusted Supplier status with the HAE has also been an important step, demonstrating our commitment to continued high standards and innovation to the hire industry.”
The Hire Awards of Excellence awards evening will take place on 4th April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.Back to news
